Hello. I am the owner and head mama at MamaAfrika.com. Our company is run with one idea in mind: African families would prefer to earn a living than receive hand-outs. So, we work to meet these three goals: 1- Sell beautiful African art, handicrafts and foods which are made by women's cooperatives and using fair trade principles. 2- Educate and dialog about African culture, history and issues facing the African continent. 3- Donate a part of our proceeds as well as raise funds for worthy small scale, African organizations which are working to improve the lives of women and children.
